  1. I'm not much for writing docs, so I hope these are adaquate. :/

  3. Open the desired holiday resource file in ResEdit
  4. Copy the cicn resource to the clipboard
  5. Close the mistletoe file
  6. Open the "System" file
  7. Paste the contents of the clipboard
  8. Save the "System" file
  9. Quit ResEdit
  10.  
  11. When you don't want to use the holiday icon anymore, repeat the above procedure using the "Standard Apple" resource file.
